Rowing Canada Aviron believes that no athlete should have to pay to represent Canada. Our rowers give 110% and we recognize that - which is why we launched the RCA All for One campaign to directly reduce their athlete assessment fees.
Together with our community of rowing supporters and athletes –

About the Campaign
From July 19-23, Under 23 rowers will be representing Canada on the world stage in Plovdiv, Bulgaria at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships. Historically, RCA has provided the majority of the funding for the travel and expenses related to these regattas, however funding restrictions have meant that athletes must bear some of the financial burden. But together we can change that.
RCA is continuing its committment to our athletes - our level of funding remains the same. All funds raised through this campaign will directly reduce the fees our athletes are required to pay.
Through the incredible generosity of a group of supporters, the RCA All for One Campaign will have donations matched 1:1, up to $48,000! That means your gift will be doubled!
Donations made in support of the campaign will be equally distributed between all athletes. Gifts cannot and will not be directed to any one specific athlete. Gifts over $20 are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
Why Donate?
Selection to the Under 23 and Junior teams is an honour for Canadian rowers, and the result of hard work and self-sacrifice. When a rower is selected to the Junior or Under 23 team, adhere to a rigourous training schedule to achieve their fullest potential when they represent Canada on the international stage - which is why we believe that no rower should have to bear a financial burden to represent our country.
Together, we can help athletes focus on giving their all on the water, and worry less about the financial requirements to get to the World Championships.
About Rowing Canada Aviron
Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) is a non-profit organization recognized by the Government of Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in Canada. RCA represents 15,000 registered members at all levels, novices, juniors, university students, seniors and masters, and people with disabilities, whether they row for recreation, health and fitness or competition.
RCA is a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee, the Canadian Paralympic Committee and the Fédération internationale des sociétés d'aviron (FISA), the international federation for rowing.
RCA was originally founded as "The Canadian Association of Amateur Oarsmen" in 1880 by the rowing clubs then in existence - to coordinate and regulate the sport of amateur rowing. In 1974 the name was changed to "The Canadian Amateur Rowing Association - Association Canadienne d'Aviron Amateur", which is still the legally constituted name, although Rowing Canada Aviron is now used as the operating name.
