NTDC and Willow Springs are thrilled to bring you the perfect way to celebrate the spirit of the Olympic Games and support our Team.
For the three Saturdays of the Olympics (Feb 5,12,19th) head out to ski, run, fat-bike, snowshoe or whatever adventure gets your Olympic spirit fired up. Then, pick up a box of delicious Olympic -themed food prepared by Willow Springs Creative Centre. Heat, eat and settle in for an awesome evening of viewing your favorite Olympic athletes and events. Cheer for our very own NTDC athlete, Graham Ritchie, who has made Team Canada! Olympic cross-country skiing events will take place February 5 to February 20 (Day 2 to 16) at the Zhangjiakou Cross Country Centre. About NTDC: We are making Olympians!
It takes a community to raise an Olympian- and we invite you to join that community. By supporting this fundraising campaign you are directly helping the National Team Development Centre Thunder Bay (NTDC Thunder Bay). We are a community-based organization developing elite cross country skiers whose goal is to represent Canada at international competitions such as the World Junior Championships, World Championships, World Cups and the Olympic Games. NTDC Thunder Bay attracts aspiring athletes to Thunder Bay by providing individualized high-performance programming and an environment that enables them to reach their full potential. Our athletes are important role models and ambassadors for healthy active living, showing the community and youth what is means to work hard towards a goal, and exemplifying good health and sportsmanship. NTDC Thunder Bay is one of 3 national training centres that operate under the direction of Nordiq Canada, the national sport organization (NSO) for Nordic skiing. We also partner with Cross Country Ski Ontario (XCSO) our Provincial sport organization (PSO) and the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario (CSIO).
