As an established and evolving artist, I have created an extensive body of work, organized multiple community projects, and am an enthusiastic and sought-after instructor of mosaic art in Austin, as well as across the US and Canada.

I identify not only as a mosaic and sculptural artist, but as an emerging indigenous artist (Anishinaabe Kwe) with a unique voice.  While my indigenous self has always been present, my recent reconnection with my tribal community has allowed it to blossom. I have a context. The truths of my own experience (as well as indigenous communities and histories at large) are now coming to light, and the opportunity for forgiveness, reconciliation, and a path forward for all cannot be ignored. Resilience is a strong factor not only in each of our lives, but also in my art, and symbolically, in my materials. I believe that art has the ability to shape our future, and artists who have the courage, vision, and capability can make an enormous impact. 

My mission and vision for upcoming projects: 

- A sculptural mosaic installation (with community involvement) for the Anderson Mill Road Regional Mobility Art in Public Places Project. 

- Large scale art that speaks to the future of our society (through an Indigenous American lens) focused on hope, resilience and reconciliation. The series is entitled "All is Connected", and it speaks to these topics through color, light, shape, and flow. Creating this art through community engagement and employing other artisans is integral to its success.

- Helping others to discover the joy of creativity and personal expression through art generates rewarding results for all, and begins many inspirational individual journeys.
