Denice Watts hasn't added a story.
I met Jessica Harvey through Facebook in November 2016. She was selling some of her daughter’s toys on the Facebook sites. My daughter asked me to go pick up a toy from Jessica. After getting there Jessica came outside to bring me the toy and then show me how it worked. She told me that she had people pick up her things at door because she had lost her license due to some health issues.
Curious I asked her what was wrong. She proceeded to tell me this heartbreaking journey she had been on since June 2014. She was on her way to work, driving and felt faint. Scared she called her husband to talk with her to make sure she got there. She stayed all day but just did not feel right. She was feeling weak and out of breath.
Hence her nightmare had begun. She has seen 26 specialists with no definitive diagnosis other than over reacting lymph nodes and SVT, ( It is a type of rapid heart rhythm originating at or above the atrioventricular node.) She had 7 lymph nodes removed in her lungs & 3 in her groin. They thought she would test positive for lymphoma but did not. One oncologist told her it could just be they didn’t’ remove the right tissue where cells were located. Also she went through exploratory heart surgery. She has been told she could have lupus, lymphoma, sapho syndrome and sarcoidosis to name a few.
Her medical specialists have recommended she go to the Mayo Clinic. The Clinic does not take her insurance or take payment plans. She currently is going to the U of M and has been trying many different medications with no relief. Many of us know how our health care system is broken in this country in many ways. From the treatments, insurance not covering and not being treated for the cause of her illness. She feels like the hamster on the wheel, running and running and getting nowhere.
I told her she should try God’s medicine. Herbs, homeopathies, nutrition and vitamins. She agreed but with money being such an issue she is in a dilemma. I could not stop thinking about her after meeting her. She is only 30 years old, has a 5 year old daughter and they were talking about giving her Chemotherapy. I just had a gut feeling she would not make it going that route so decided to try and raise some money for her so she can go to a Naturopathic Doctor.
So please help Jessica save her life. She will be seeing Dr. Denise Acton in Brighton, Michigan. www.naturesremediesdr.com is her website. This will probably be a year’s journey to fixing her health and each visit and supplements will be all out of pocket. Doesn’t seem right we have to pay for this choice of healthcare but it is what it is. We will keep you posted on her progress. I thank each and every one of you in advance. God Bless Jessica and everyone. Jessica has not been able to work since 2014.
