Transition Framingham is hosting our 13th annual Framingham Vegetable Garden Tour on Saturday, August 24th from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. Join us for a FREE tour of several home and community gardens to get inspiration, ideas, and advice from local gardeners.

This year's tour will start at Open Spirit (39 Edwards St). We will meet at 9am sharp to arrange carpooling.

Donations are appreciated but not required to attend the tour.  All donations will  benefit Transition Framingham, a grass-roots group helping Framingham  move from fossil fuel dependence to local resilience since 2011.  We are currently working with the City of Framingham to develop designs for possible new community gardens in South Framingham, through a grant from the Community Preservation Committee.  Funds raised from the Garden Tour will help pay for expenses not covered by the grant and provide more space for people to  grow food in Framingham.

Timing:

• 9:00 am sharp - Meet at Open Spirit (39 Edwards St) to arrange carpooling 
• 12:00 pm Carpool returns to  Open Spirit

Details:

• This is a rain or shine event - only severe weather will cause cancellation.
• Bathrooms will be available at two stops along the tour route.
• Please bring a reusable water bottle and snacks, and wear appropriate clothing and footwear.
